Anatomy & Physiology for the Herbalist
This introductory course will cover the basics of Anatomy and Physiology and simple pathology for the herbalist. Students will be introduced to basic medical terminology, as well as, the terminology specific to each body system. During this course you will begin to develop your own personal materia medica through your unique relationship with the plants. We will use simple case studies to deeper our understanding and begin to explore diagnostic techniques. Since the emphasis in this class is the materia medica, all students are required to take A&P even if they have taken it in the past in other learning scenarios.
